2024 was one of the absolute worst years of my life. 2025 was better by comparison but like, not by that much. Will 2026 be better? I hope so, I would say it can’t get worse but that phrase has come back to bite me in the ass over and over again. 🤷♂️

Wrapped up reading Vol 1 of Astonishing X-Men today. I originally read this in issues as thy released but hadn’t read it since. I was told that it aged poorly but I disagree with that. I think it still reads well, but the author has definitely aged poorly. It still feels cinematic and fun to me.

Taking some of the easier decor down. The decor that makes sense. Stuff to free up shelves and the like. It’s sad. But considering we put the dog down the Monday before Thanksgiving, it’s certainly not the saddest think we’ve done in the last 60 days.
