This is actually a redraw of a sketch I made a year ago, but never got around to finishing. (which happened to be exactly a year later lmao) this time, I tried applying the skills I gained from a class I’m taking this quarter that involved doing a ton of gesture drawings, and…
the original sketch of the drawing from March 2, 2025. While it isn't necessarily bad, the poses are more rigid, and the proportions are off, even for a cartoony style. the newer sketch used for the drawing from March 2, 2025. the poses are a lot more dynamic, showing a lot of movement. wispy wind effects are drawn surrounding the characters to add movement to the drawing. the expressions are also slightly different.

okay so I was looking through some older art on my tumblr and I feel like I should show this one to y’all… like I think my humor genuinely peaked here…
