My understanding-and I may have gotten this wrong, I’m not a lawyer - was that yes you can IF you’re not distributing the compiled binary to end users. So if ur just building a docker image that u run in ur production, that’s fine.

If nothing else, even if he’s not as super busy as he was yesterday and today, he might be busy eating dinner or sleeping, which is perfectly reasonable. He shouldn’t be asked to make concessions.

He’s amazing, and a better friend to me and to the community than any of us deserve. I’d like to figure out is how we can either automate the process such that he’s not the only person in the pipeline on critical days like year day, or at least deputize others so they can take action in his stead.

It unfortunately is. That’s the way of the world. Lots of really amazing people shouldering incredible loads.
I wonder if maybe Oracle could do a little bit more here to help. (Besides, you know, doing 90% of the R&D and making it available to the world for free and in open-source terms, that is.)

I wish we could send an email to a special email address or something to get both @foojay.io and @sdkman.io cron jobs to run more quickly
Is there something we can do in six months? It’s evening here in the USA - it’s been more than half a day - and there’s still no Java Or GraalVM :-(

yup! and no spoilers, too! so when you saw reviews that came out the same day as launch saying it's a terrible game, they're just review bombing it; they've never played it!

And they released it at the same time as the reviewers! Putting fans before reviewers, such a class move!
