My Drawfee favorite: Delete your art (aka kill your darlings). If you drew a great hand but the arm just doesn't look right, erase the hand and start over. It usually benefits the piece, is good practice, and builds confidence that your successes aren't an accident.

Unpopular motivation hack for drawing:
Start drawing immediately, even if it feels impossible.
After 15 minutes, your brain will recognize the difficult task and create dopamine to help you keep going.
Agonizing endlessly before the drawing doesn't help your creative process.

A new translation was recently published of a seminal manga/comics studies essay in 1995 that documents and explains manga iconography with 120 examples. It's so exciting to see a precursor of what I'm doing rn with the Comics Devices Library
