I suspect that it’s because they are devoid of any real characters because the goal is to make you and your friend group the characters. And when all the plot/story/anything is coming from that emergent gameplay there’s not many signifiers they can project the culture war onto. No big boob REPO guy

I may be the sole person that would play that campaign out of morbid fascination to find out what rancid new political take they have if the boycott weren’t going. But it’s not like I’m losing any sleep over it.

The shifting of goalposts here to imply that they were only talking about a “flood of crime” and not implying an entire group of people were equivalent to The Flood is really something else
