The Stan! Eggs (salmon deviled eggs) are chilling in the fridge. Each time I make them, they turn out a little different. I think today's batch is a little subtler and a little smoother than usual ... but delicious as always (based on my sampling of the remnants in the mixing bowl).

Writing project proposals saps the life out of me. Like so many creatives, even after all these years I get nervous when proposing budgets, especially with a new client. It takes a force of will to remember that I need to propose HIGH and negotiate down ... also that I'm WORTH what I'm asking for.
