This is the first time I've seen such creative use of an app's delete menu. Nice try, Hey!, but no.

Got a new toy from Japan.

How I adore the aesthetic of those years…

Unfortunately, today’s ultra-patriots have decided that the city’s history doesn’t suit them and have started rewriting it to fit the political agenda. The monument in the last photo no longer exists — it was demolished in 2022 just like the communists did back in 1920.

Today, people from Odessa worldwide are celebrating the city’s day. I haven’t been there for 3,5 years and will probably never return. I remember walking here on the last peaceful evening, February 23, 2022. The next morning, the full-scale war began, and I took my family away without looking back.

The meeting between Zelensky and Trump, from the perspective of the Budapest Memorandum, looks like this: The President of Ukraine travels to Washington, where the president of a state-guarantor of Ukraine’s security (the United States) will try to convince him that another state-guarantor of Ukraine’s security (Russia) will end the war—if Ukraine, whose territorial integrity was guaranteed under the Memorandum, agrees to give up… its territorial integrity. In return, the security-guarantor states propose to give Ukraine… security guarantees. Oh, almost forgot. The leaders of the other two guarantor states (the United Kingdom and France—which joined the Memorandum with reservations) will be watching to make sure that everything is fair…

Got my @goveeofficial.bsky.social Table Lamp 2 (H6022) working with Apple Home — full effect control and Adaptive Lighting via HomeKit. MQTT + Homebridge did the trick. A hundred times better than using Matter. Blog post with configs coming in the next few days.

I finally replaced the laser head in this beauty and now the one I bought a month ago in junk condition is pleasing all my housemates.

A couple of nice things that have appeared in our house lately. Being able to buy nice little things without the thought that war could break out at any moment is a sign of recovery, I think.

When someone asks why I collect vinyl records, I’m often not sure what to say.
It’s not about trends or nostalgia.
It’s more about a certain feeling that’s hard to put into words.

Today the postman brought me a special delivery—Ozzy Osbourne’s Patient Number 9 on Ukrainian Flag limited edition vinyl. A surprise gift from my wife. Already went through the HumminGuru and ready to spin.
