I'm enjoying the best kind of Thanksgiving

You’ve just died.
The 6th picture in your gallery is what killed you

[I probably should have fed him earlier!]

It's my favorite time of the year.

That said, this is my bedroom and I've decided not to get out of bed today.

I have specially engineered an audio track that shuts my brain off, and if I don't manage to turn the sound off in the morning, I don't make it up.

I think this is appropriate. The White House and the country itself have fallen.

His sister used to come in just covered in muck with her curly hair. She loved hunting out in the storms.

Yin and Yang, exactly the same and precisely opposite. He can't stand the rain. But he dragged my bedrobe off the hook and onto the bed and now he is probably going to recover.

We have mostly recovered from the horrific ordeal.

This image is going around today and I think it fits well here.

I'm a Marine brat. My father was a lifer who fought in World War II (Pacific campaign). I am certainly pro-military, but remember your oath to the Constitution of the United States, lest this be ye.

Credit to the photographer. The composition and balance in this photo is amazing. To have that kind of presence in something like this shows true professionalism and art in their craft.

Here, I'll just dump all the cute on you today.

Thank you! Constructed over several dreary winter weekends last year. I just suddenly got a wild idea, crammed a small waterfall into the landscape, brought out a pick and shovel, and built myself a pond.

Another view, from my chair.

It's barely afternoon. I'm working on the department budget for next year, which is due by Friday. I'm sitting out by the pond feeding the squirrels and drinking Guinness. So you know what? I've had enough negativity. You too? Have lunch with the fish and me. Sláinte.

Timeline Cleanse. Please enjoy this video of a squirrel drinking water from a garden water feature.

Well, it has come to this. My 14 year old body cam has served me fine, but it feels like it's time for something a little more modern.

Why do I even need a body cam? What the hell has gone on here? How did we fail so miserably? I'm never not going to be salty about this. I'm too old for this shit.

I came up with an idea for a video game, but I think it's too close to Battletoads. [AI Slop]

Cleaning up your timeline a little bit. Here's a Yellow-rumped Warbler (butter butt!) bathing in my pond just now

That's all I ever call him is Bobby Brainworm...

The Honorable Brainworm has never heard of correlation versus causation:

Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc, or Post Hoc Fallacy

This is why we have experts. This is why politicians should not be involved in science. Even fake science. It's embarrassing.
