Yeah I was excited to see that too! “Whoa that looks kinda like—it is!”

This seems to be reddit user "Minute_Food_2881", possibly on other platforms too. You can see more builds there including an Enterprise made from a gingerbread AT-AT set:

Also apparently "make the Falcon" is a running joke with lots of #Lego fans, not just him!

For native English speakers at least, I would have thought "column" for vertical would be very clear. I could imagine some ambiguity with "row", though, thinking of rows as being any line without necessarily being horizontal?

Like in tic-tac-toe where "three in a row" can go any direction.

If we're going to use the Marvel coloring books as inspiration, I think the Autobots from "Decepticon Patrol" are the clear way to go:

Probably not something Nick has drawn a hundred times already, and the fans who recognize them would get a kick of of it!

Of course, he is not expected to own the similar domains. I don't blame Matt in the least.

He PREVIOUSLY owned those other domains, which is why teachers have them bookmarked. He understandably let the extras expire, so teachers with saved links just need to update them to avoid any issues.

Hmm. I wonder if the paypal donation link on the "the" site goes to the same place as Blackman's real site...
November 17, 2025 at 11:45 PM
The lookalike site might have once been Blackman's... the standalone "crack the circuit" site definitely was his at one time. But they should not be trusted anymore.

(I actually have a colleague who was briefly suspended because of what an outdated link to those sites did in his class.)

"Maybe if we frame this headline and lede around the idea that ChatGPT can predict the future we'll get more clicks."

Have all the real journalists been fired?

Looking forward to having this student write a little something up that will get the Washington Double Star catalog to mark the system as a "dubious double". They don't REMOVE systems once they're in the catalog, but they will put that flag on the entry if they decide it's not real.

...also a 1915 MNRAS paper saying basically "I looked there when measuring this other system nearby but didn't see anything".

The idea that I can just bring up the primary document from 1879 and start doing detective work is so cool. #ITeachPhysics #AstroEdu

I love that composite, too... When I think about how much further away Andromeda is than anything else that I can see with my own eyes, that alone blows my mind.

And then to think about that angular size in combination with the distance and what the means for its linear size...!!!

space is big man
