Many in N.B. participated in the 2022 public consultation on draft Nursing Home Regulations. The Regs passed, with not a single change, denying the fairness in discharge public wanted, based on a false idea that no Province has an appeals process. People lose trust that the exercise even matters.

I changed my TV package. Kept the Canadian news networks. It’s not about tuning out, but rather filtering the noise. Hard to go back to bed, when the folks downstairs are banging on the ceiling. #ElbowsUp.

We are not upset, we are appalled that the CBC is working in the service of Trump by normalizing his insane and dangerous rhetoric. Romanticizing the idea of invasion by the US is terribly irresponsible of you. I am normally a big fan, but today I am ashamed of my CBC. Selling us out for ratings.

Judge called out the responsibility but seems to not really matter to people in power. By design or neglect, #LTC continues to get a pass, backed by a NB Nursing Home Act void of #humanrights protection. Yet more reason to rethink how we care for the most vulnerable citizens.

Yes, compounded horror and I forgot to say they cut off her NB Seniors Drug plan, which we only learned when the residential hospice tried to fill her narcotics prescription. Mom died a medical orphan with no drug coverage when her care was abandoned by the Nursing Home.
