The accent is useful!. I'm in 2 minds about compulsory voting. One one hand, people died for the right to vote, and now (in the UK at least), vast swathes of people decide they can't be bothered. On the other hand, I'm not sure it's right to force people to do something they don't want to.

Excellent, I'm glad the mask is slipping. It's difficult from over here, every day there's something absolutely batshit crazy happening that makes us go "Really? Wow..." I love the US, but I won't be back for a while

Do we really, REALLY believe Trump is a Christian? Like, an actual believer? I'm in the UK, where we all gave up with religion many years ago (there's still a few mad ones, or "Catholics" as I believe they're called, but they keep themselves to themselves most of the time). It just isn't his style.

I'm the same with Ryanair, and for that matter easyjet or Jet2. They're cheap and get you there on generally oretty bew aircraft. I've flown all major US airlines (AND the major UK one!) both transatlantic and internally across the US, and I didn't think much of any of them.
