I can certainly give grace to people who don't know better or just aren't thinking about it, but people whose vehicles you can hear coming a half mile away, be it loud bass or vanity exhaust, can be sent to the gulag. That's deliberate, and there's no excuse for that shit.

The thing about loud music is that unless the culprit is both reasonably competent and has proper gear, it sounds like shit. And the number of Loud Music Enjoyers who actually meet those criteria is woefully small.

The other day I did see a cop in a minivan chasing down the dude with the super loud motorcycle that terrorizes my neighborhood, which is the first positive police development I've seen in...yeah, since 2020 at least.
