Even if our kids can no longer ride cycles safely and play on our streets without risking being murdered by cars and speeding motor cycles, we should encourage adoption of killer SUVs 'cos "it's good for the economy". We need to reclaim our streets from cars.

TN has 50 reported rabies deaths per year. Even if we take that to be off by an order of magnitude and at 500 per year, it still pales in comparison to the ~18000 motor vehicle fatalities per year. Since the driver is at fault, so no further measures to curb killer machines on our roads is needed. 🤷

Recently in a show named something like naaya naana or neeya naaya, folks seemed to express that absence of a responsible entity for mishaps is more of an issue than the actual fatality risks. Yeah right, as long as you can point a finger at somebody, killing isnt a problem. Humans!

I'm squarely of the "நாய்க்கும் நரிக்கும் பூனைக்கும் தான் எரிக்குளம் கூட சொந்தமடி" mind and that appropriate care of our community pups .. which already have a hard life on the streets .. can mitigate any risks.

It's rhetorical I know .. but saldy it is ours .. where in the guise of "liberating" a people and establishing "human rights", war is waged. The org is for human rights and the gun runners for "human rights".

I dont understand the politics here well enough, but deals can be struck only with people you sufficiently trust. Not sure that is true in this case.
