Most work was general maintenance like new brakes, suspension etc. Did aircon compressor and had HICAS lock out done as that goes weird so it's better to disable. Climate display failed but friend fixed that with a soldering iron as it was just a broken track. Rust is a big issue to watch for too.

I had one for a few years from 2004 to 2009. It was a great car until the engine failed. It did spend a good year sat around outside due to previous owner doing nothing with it which I don't think helped. Used it as a daily. Think it was turbo failure that killed it so change them early.

Had one for 15 years and the first year was spent fixing stuff every month. Then doing rusty bits every few years. Had a good specialist though. That definitely makes a big difference to any ownership experience. I do like a petulantly unreliable but interesting car so it was right up my alley 🙂

I have been putting off updating to ios26 and it looks like it's still not worth doing! First time I've not updated within a week or two of release of an iOS as it's just such a poor effort.

They normally get lost before they even get to my door.

Same where I am. Lots of careless and thoughtless people on the roads. Some I think are drugged or drunk as well. Seems to be a spate of them crashed and upside down in the local paper even in the middle of the day. How they manage it I have no idea.

I can't even remember what yesterday's was even after the full picture!
