I know I have probably said this before somewhere, but I find the implication that Curu is as human as the others to be more terrifying personally. Like this person that could have lived among all of you is capable of hurting others without hesitation and for what reason? With no guilt or want for change - even to go as far as hurting those that seemingly care about them and are trying to help them. A person who could have been good, but even when shown kindness resorted to hurting. To see themselves as above consequence because there is no reason why their perspective could be flawed in any way so there's no reason to have to justify to these "islanders" of something they think they cannot understand. At least they look kinda cute ? just look at that smile ! couldnt do a thing ! hahaha This is a reply to a reblog on tumblr of someone pointing out that they enjoyed that I kept some parts of Curu obviously human and plenty of other parts polar bear in an abnormal way. Thank you tumblr user this is like the best thing i have been told ever i am floating in the sky rn

a very vague timeline of how i believe the island came to be in the following order. News of a mortal hybrid who "became god" one day, the creation of the federation, war resulting in complete federation control over the island, hybrid experimentation and failures, creation of the watcher and the little goober things, creation of the rebellion, creation of the egg, island is reopened, to finally where we are now during islander testing. its rough around the edges but i think its mildly understandable!! grins

New Baribal outfit ! I will explain the new direction for the design later and what I wanna fix when i have a better example but for now it’s just an orange redish cloth fitted to work as an outfit as well. She’s smiling but it’s not genuine This brush is sooo good you guys need to try it - just turn on color jitter and up the saturation and hue by like 5 or 10. Super good when ur lazy and do flat colors but wanna make it look interesting

remember that pikmin comic i made a while back that literally pikmin 4 but more violent? yeah well this is a crossover of that and my friend hoco's parasite rusty au for context. I don't even remember how this happened, our brains merged or something. Olimar is dead in this. That isn't him, just a parasite living in what use to be him to spread onto more organic creatures, but Rusty isn't organic so a unique bond is formed !! the image is of "olimar" holding a swooping snitchbug by its still attached arm in the point of view of rusty. They are laying down still in shock over their situation and getting a meal prepared by "Olimar" Rusty isn't very enthusiastic about eating though.

olimar is facing down in the shade of the hocotate ship looking at the mug, but not really with any purpose. He is sitting in a lawn chair with the ship staring at the sky on their home planet. I scribbled in some of the words to later fill in neatly, but never did, they read "the one in the lower right- its barely above- but tonight- its there tonight". Olimar looks up finally with an unreadable expression, "you can see it tonight, I can see it tonight" The ship is staring in silence, conflicted on how to proceed, waiting briefly in silence. The ship answers back, "and what object are we thus observing?"
