You could publish all of those and you'd never have a problem and THAT is the problem.

You couldn't publish The Sopranos, or The Wire, or Breaking Bad, or basically any prestige television on Patreon.

Heck - forget prestige, you couldn't publish Law and Order, CSI, or Bones.

Most detective fiction and serials are completely out, along with a lot of Romance and Fantasy stories too.

Nobody should be being banned for this stuff, but the people who are being banned are far from the 'worst' offenders.

And, of course, a lot of mainstream fiction would fall victim to these rules. George R. R. Martin couldn't publish Game of Thrones through Patreon according to their rules.
