We had an encyclopedia collection that was either less expensive or even a sort of gift thing because my parents were in a book club (that was something that was really widespread in Germany in the '70s; it was done by specific publishers, and you could order bestsellers and stuff like that).

I enjoyed it, but I loved Thunderbolts more. That film moved me like no Marvel movie has done pretty much since Iron Man.

I think I'd pin the waistband as closely as possible to the curve, and then sew the fabrics together. I admittedly have more experience with elastic waistbands, but that seems the most logical to me.

I'm not quite sure I understand, how is the skirt curved at the top? Do you mean because it goes in the round?

I mean I'm used to Christians completely ignoring the tenets of their religion, but normally they are at least superficially acquainted with them.

Although the way serious media twisted themselves to avoid speaking out what was clearly visible was quite eye-opening in itself.

Also, to briefly comment on the content of their reply, that is a very, very reductive explanation of the rise of Nazism in Germany, which didn't simply happen because people were "angry" that nobody had warned them about the "fierceness" of enemy soldiers.

Yeah, but Manhattan is by that time so removed from anything even vaguely human, it didn't surprise me. He certainly seems to use a sort of cookie cutter that he squeezes over everything he reads or sees, whether it fits or not.
I mostly know bits and pieces about Thiel, but he seems very enarmoured w/ the idea of apocalyptic situations, so it's weird that he wouldn't understand that.

For some reason I misremembered that as them getting the journal, but it somehow getting lost because the guys who got it were too deep in conspiracy land.
But mostly I recall being incredibly annoyed with Silk Spectre II & Night Owl II for just deciding to go w/ the plan. So morally bankrupt.

I'm reading what he said, and have trouble understanding what he wants to say, that Oz is bad, and his reign won't last? I haven't read Watchmen in 2 decades, but wasn't there this thing in the end where the letter saying what he did gets lost in a conspiracy theorist's junk drawer?
