The thing that kills me is it’s purely bc of Hip Shop - that’s like the perfect song I put onto repeat while I work

I’ve sewn, made videos edits, and wrote, when I’ve felt stuck in a block w/ my art, and while none of it was professional standard, having a sense of accomplishment from learning a new skill can help unblock that creative flow

Heck, I’ve even learned things from it that end up helping my art later!

Best advice I can offer is to step away for a few days and come back with fresh eyes (if that’s possible) and/or try out another non-painting or drawing creative outlet during non-work hours, even if it’s something simple!
