Just rewatched the original Star Wars while decorating for Christmas and still got that same jolt it gave my tiny Gen X mind back in the day. That movie hard-wired me to be Team Antifa/anti-Nazi forever. Thank you, George Lucas, for my moral compass. Apparently a lot of my cohort missed that memo.

Bring it on, valencianos! Call it an arrocidad, a crime against rice. Yesterday’s arroz con pollo y setas became today’s fried rice lunch. Sauteed onion, pepper, zucchini, then cold rice straight from the fridge and beaten egg. Chopped basil, soy sauce, and a dollop of alioli to finish.

Bella looks like a sweetie. Dogs are so sensitive. They feel love and sadness like we do, and they always know when we need a little extra comfort. This one is our little nurse. We were heartbroken after losing another dog, and she’s been helping all of us mend ❤️🩹 together you guys will too
