A European Robin, facing to the right with its head slightly turned to look at me with one of its round black eyes. It's bill is short and black Its Breast, Throat, and Face are a striking orange-red color. The color is technically orange, but the bird was named "redbreast" in English before the color name "orange" was introduced into the language. The orange is edged in a greyish colour which then changes to olive-brown for the majority of the bird and its legs are dark. The Robin is standing in very short grass in the garden.
