Agree. Been awhile for me and I have been near WDW and DLR. There are other reasons it is much less magical.

I was on two 757s this week on DL. My back remembers why I was glad AA stopped using them.

When I had to get working papers years ago the process seems similar. It was not bad, but at the same time, I had no problem with it not being a rubber stamp. It shouldn't be.
