I think they don't care if they get riots or compliance. Either leads to fascism if they win.

I would support this with every option at my disposal, and a fair bit of money that would have gone to other causes because it would fix so many problems and help so many other causes.

They all put the battery in the floor because the batteries are heavy. It keeps the vehicle stable, by lowering the center of gravity. They seal it somehow.
The F-150 lightning has the same thing. All the Teslas do it too, and it isn't the source of any of the multitude of cybertrucks problems.

I 100% agree with you that defunding ICE and funding mental health care would be good.
How do we have a serious conversation around mental health care when we can't have a serious conversation around physical health care? How can we have this conversation when mentally ill people hold guns?
