Fat, disabled, celibate knitter. Body positive but my knees hurt.
I produce the podcast Mind Your Own Karma. The path to justice is not peaceful. Keep creating, keep breathing, hope floats, and naps are magic.

FO took 11 weeks :) I never thought I could knit a 3x that fast. If you missed this so far, this is the Sucker Punch Sweater by Wollmuschi Designs. I added mohair to mine for the extended size and gauge. Cross stitching on the sleeves is part of the pattern, but creative placement is encouraged! 🧶

Just some cross stitching on my knitted sleeves!

Her version showing the additional designs on the sleeves and a different colorway.

#showmeyourknits indie designer: I'm happy to share a design by a prolific artist/designer. Nearly finished, it's called Sucker Punch. The designer lives in Nederland, originally from Deutschland. TY for all the fun and creative designs, Sandra! @wollmuschi #knitsky

Been playing around with baking in my spare time. I talked my son into kneading this one for me. Burger butterbuns. The oven was wayyyy too hot, which was my fault and also the oven's. But they toasted up nice and the one I had made a great vehicle for my almost-vegan Beyond Beef (cheese)burger.

The Diona Tee has been pulled back out for a few more inches of sleeves … while I wait for yarn mail for continuing two other sweaters’ sleeves. Truly sleeve island with no escape.

Thanks! It’s supposed to have an actual pattern to it, but I got too experimental… This is the designer’s version.

I’m not knitting so much since I injured my right arm a few months ago (something to do with a nerve?) and now my second and final doggo has compassionate euthanasia set for Monday. I’m not sure who I’ll be without dogs or knitting. #dogmomminusdogs #knitternotknitting #identitycrisis

#showmeyourknits theme this week is FOs, or WONs (what’s on your needles). This crazy sweater, and since I totaled up how much yarn I bought for it over time, I’m determined to finish it with the odds and ends left over. I have the lower sleeves and the neckline to go. #suckerpunchsweater

I went to craft night wearing my knitted sweater and another knitter identified it as hand knit “because she’s a knitter too.” I guess because of the yoke style?

Cables are the theme for #showmeyourknits this week. This is my WIP Diona Tee, waiting for the sleeve finishing. It’s somewhere between the two colors, a shiny plum.

#showmeyourknits headwear week. The least appealing photo setup, in the hatch of my SUV. Pink ones made with Fibre Company Lore held with alpaca lace. I think the pattern is called Forest for theTrees. Below those is a Kobuk in mystery yarn.

#showmeyourknits autumnal knits: This leaf cowl says it all. I've made it in two colorways. For each, I paired a yummy variegated mohair with a weird unwanted skein. www.ravelry.com/projects/spy...

#showmeyourknits scarf week. A tale of two scarves. (I think I've only made two.)

I've been away nearly a month. Aug. was dedicated to this one I've had going since early '23. I added my own touches (as I usually do to any pattern unless I'm testing) and it's become its own force of nature. My ravelry notes are a novella/diary of it all. www.ravelry.com/projects/spy... #knitsky

For knitter’s choice week at #showmeyourknits, I present a Double Heelix sock. Or was it just a Heelix? I think this was from 2018, and I really did make the second one! Knit Picks Palette. They wore through, as socks do.

Are there still adventurous knitters out there who like a challenge? The LIBRA MOON TEE brings two layers of fabric knit on top of each other, lace and stranded knitting.
This time the pattern also includes video tutorials. Have fun!

My kachemak drying in the breeze. Will have short sleeves because I’m so allergic to this yarn it’s crazy. I don’t even know how I’m going to wear it. #knitting #knitsky

#showmeyourknits this color is labeled silver blue, so I’m going with it. I don’t use much blue.
