I hang onto old emails in case I want to see when a company runs big sales, so I know when to hold off on a purchase for when they typically have a sale.

In 2010, for an employee-year recognition gift, I selected a DVD player with surround sound speakers. Even though today it's a DVD player—and not Blu-ray—I continue to use it when I want really cool sound with a movie.

It was so cold last night when I set out the bags, that the yard waste stickers didn't intitially stick to the bags. They fell right to the ground! I had to really rub and pinch the stickers for them to adhere to the bag.

I just looked up the original list price for the MFC-795CW. $649.89. I bet it was hard to put that much down for a scanner at the time. But now, after 15 years, you probably feel it's worth every penny.

My ScanSnap cost a bit less, but over ten years... well worth it.
