In the early days of our republic, we didn't have party's we only had ideas which were constrained within the Const. but as people forgot how to develop and present ideas the schemers exploited the illiteracy and ignorance with the emergence of the party system

The nature of our politics has nothing to do with polarization but its all about deception. We are all bound to and under the U.S. Const. people can always push to change it but they must be up front about it. It becomes an issue when people want to change it without being up front about it.

When I worked for Reason magazine during Trump's rise to power in 2016, I was explicitly forbidden by the editor in chief from writing about Trump's racism, or the violence and racism at his rallies.

For the longest our struggles have been premised on analysis of the Black American experience as being a minority one but the desperation of trump and his supremacist are showing what has always been true, with our allies we are the majority

My mom in law who is up in age has her GP who takes everything she says seriously gives her an attentive ear which 99% of the time despite her family thats all she needs. I wonder if our health care system treated people for the most part in this manner how better off and healthy we all would be
