Close your eyes and make a wish (she wished for dinner and her wish came true).

Trust has been broken. She went to the groomer and in doing so, missed lunch. I made it up to her food wise when she came home, but she is making sure I feel guilty.

Just ran from one room to another in my house to look out the windows because sunbeams are cool!

Wait, pretend it’s still Halloween! I meant to post this picture of a millipede I saw on a walk a couple weeks ago - I had been saving it for the festive occasion, but I forgot!

Trick or treating dahlias! The neighbor that grew these had the Ghostbusters song playing and had decorated with cheerful pumpkins. Second favorite house behind the one with the live spooky music on keyboard. I felt like I should be leaving a tip.

She vetoed the (unpictured) zebra ears. Should she dress as a dog, giraffe, tiger or polar bear?

I hope to be the sort of halloween house that kids are excited about and parents are less excited about. See anything you want?

I felt a bit peckish and fixed myself some yogurt for a nice pre-bedtime hit of protein tonight. Added a sprinkle of granola.

I spent a few minutes admiring the late season dahlias at a local pumpkin patch yesterday before my kid took off running pell mell through the largest corn maze I’ve ever been in in my life. That I managed to not lose him, not wipe out running through slick mud, and that we escaped was miraculous.

I haven’t watched the games but am enjoying the posts diluting my intake of horrors. I was raised in a Dodgers home. Our tiny b&w tv was rarely on - but there was a radio, and if the Dodgers were playing, Vin Scully’s voice would be a soothing background melody for the duration of the game.

Sorry I was slow!

Please set ground rules on Halloween about weaponry. Not cool if she’s unsheathing her dagger at stranger’s doors…

Ok, but this was literally me on Tuesday…

I found the source of the wet dog smell.

Mushroom weather out there. My house smells like wet dog.

It’s pouring rain and there is a thick blanket of clouds and I just took my dog out to pee before coming in for lunch, and opening up your story as a little treat. Perfect timing!!!

I discovered that it’s very inefficient to make cookie dough during a meeting when you can only run the mixer during the moments you’re able to be on mute, but I persevered. 4 dozen cookies ready to go for an event, and a dozen extra, because it’s simply irresponsible not to do some taste testing.

When she was younger, my dog used to cuddle and take naps with her trainer’s cat.

She is unimpressed.

Whimsy mind is unique. However, I, too, suffer from shirt confusion. I saw someone across the room yesterday wearing a shirt involving a rainbow of colors and my mind went gay, but then he got closer and it was actually Red Cross blood donation, so maybe not.

It can help prevent and shorten the duration of colds and flu. It basically revs up your immune system.

I spotted you yesterday.

Saw some cool cats today. Dogs, too.
