The same-titled book by Warren Zanes is excellent. One of the better rock bios I've read. (Zanes also wrote a great bio on Tom Petty.)

Excellent profile. I really like her (and I consider myself an Independent). She's not a bomb thrower. If anything she's shown that she's politically astute and very savvy. (I also your piece (Dylan Wells) on Digital Media and Democrats. Some of those people were new to me.

Oh, definitely. I think I like it better than The Moviegoer (which I read earlier this year -- also a great book). I believe Donna Tartt (another Catholic writer) was hugely influenced by Walker Percy.
