It's also upsetting bc those student athletes (who are often barely academically able) get the cream of resources, facilities and academic help. At big universities they often get a private dining hall that serves better food! A slap in the face to everyone else trying to pass courses and stay.

It's not economical because large companies intentionally sell products meant to break, slow down and become un-repairable over time. Technicians must be highly trained, with special proprietary tools to complete repairs. It's unsustainable for ordinary folks.
