like…i am DESPERATE to get this dimilix fic finished after 5.5 years! but i am just not going to put it into AI and have it finish my work for me. that’s just bananas lol. I couldn’t have AI learn any of my audition pieces and play them for me on my instrument in high school and I’m not going to

if something i shared for people to read wasn’t even written by me! i love moving people with my work! if i can’t finish something I’m writing then it’s just not going to be shared, rather than letting AI fill in the gaps just to have something to post/publish lol

to just want your ideas on the page and not having to deal with like. overcoming your own brain when it works against you and doesn’t allow you to write any words down despite having them all in your mind. but like, on top of all the ethical issues with AI, i just couldn’t have any pride as a writer

I stood on business today because my local authors’ Facebook group asked basically “what is your limit for how much AI an author can use before you don’t want to buy their book?” And I went on a RANT. Some of it is cropped out because I don’t want to doxx the group/location.

i do plan on starting the farseer trilogy in the new year which I’m excited for! and i have a couple books downloaded to my kobo that I’ll read this month i think

if I write anything it’s after bedtime! same with playing any video games lol. my daughter has never been a good napper and dropped her nap a bit ago so bedtime is all I’ve got now 😂

3 is a very fun age with a lot more independence but it’s also like. i have a threenager with very big feelings lolol. but yeah i feel you, i didn’t return to writing fic til this year! and a lot of ppl have definitely moved on but some of my fav authors have stuck around which I’m grateful for!
