Even stranger considering he’s a hard guy to miss

I can’t either, but I might be able to give a little advice still. I think the consistency is a little off. For example, the strand at the character’s tip is more gradual as it reaches the droplet at the end instead of maintaining a consistently thin shape. It might help to think of it as strings

This is what you can get done if you work as a team, anything is possible, even extreme size difference love

Nothing like learning how to work as a team with the help of an absolute bed of a man. He sure is quick for his size though

In my situation I guess the result itself isn’t always objectively terrible, but being bad at drawing is more than the result. What is objective is that I’m incredibly slow and have next to no understanding of how to make something look competent. With my skills I’m basically doomed to make filler

Very good, I’ll definitely try to get it then. Maybe it’ll inspire more fan works in me

This fills me with a sense of accomplishment, perhaps this is one of my greater achievements. I may be a successful furry advertiser yet

Also good to hear it’s been enjoyable, I’ve only gotten to play the demo, but plan on getting it when it releases since it seems fun

I’m glad to hear it, I do hope it was useful

Did the painter also give him the oil?
November 19, 2025 at 12:15 AM
That’s all, I hope my analysis was at least interesting to read, if not helpful. Thank you for reading, I know it’s a lot

And since your style is so defined by your line work my best recommendation would probably be to try a lineless style. It would be the most likely practice to let you learn aspects of drawing not usually prioritized by your usual style. Plus the final product can look pretty interesting

The line work I see in your art is very distinctive, the dotted ends make up a lot of the character of it. So something else I think you could try is hand lettering fonts, I personally find it unusually fun, so you might too. It’s an easy element to shoehorn into most drawings too

Your usual grey backgrounds could be expanded into more graphical compositions. I think even just brightening them a bit would help with contrast, sketches get a little lost in the grey when zoomed out
November 17, 2025 at 8:45 PM
By that I mean that you should try experimenting with your art style. I noticed backgrounds are largely absent from your repertoire, so you could study some of those. Your lining style looks like it’d make for very pretty foliage and naturalistic settings with enough practice

To me your frustration seems to stem from a boredom with your own style rather than an inherent flaw in it. It’s an understandable feeling, though not necessarily helpful for progress on its own. I think a change in perspective might help
November 17, 2025 at 8:43 PM
After sifting through your media there’s nothing in it that I could personally point out as ugly, distinctive yes, but nothing caused by a specific lack of skill. In my opinion basically the most important quality to making a good looking drawing is flow, and I’d say you have that down

They may be some of the most famous bears, so that checks out
November 15, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I guess that works out then. Maybe if I’m festive year round I can push it further

Thank you, I’m glad to have the approval of a Banjo fan. Must’ve done something right

Those spats were a Freddy addition, very fashionable of him I have to say
