Any of us who become teachers do so because we want to help kids; some find the low achievers to be their calling, others, we want to help but not by slowing the class down, we want to raise those kids up by challenging them.
And admin's vision of school culture plays a huge part as well. 🖖

The system rewards low achievers in an effort to not "leave them behind" instead of instilling work ethic,curiosity & time management.
And the high flyers are left to suffer.
