I still don't know how Boann Distillery has done it, but the marriage of their delicious Irish whiskey and honey from their own apiaries results in what is basically sweet handmade honeycomb in liquid form. It's INCREDIBLE stuff!

Look at a bottle of DiSaronno and you won't see the word 'Amaretto' on it. Why? Because Amaretto uses almonds for flavour and DiSaronno uses cheaper apricot kernels over a frankly awful base spirit. Tosolini Saliza not only uses almonds but aged brandy to add rich depth and complexity. It's AMAZING.
