If we actually want a good Crusade, I think it would be *REALLY funny* if Pope Leo declared a Crusade to help American resistance groups at some point, especially because the first Crusades were *supposed* to help the Byzantine Empire defend itself

Honestly though, it seems like "abolish ICE" is rapidly becoming a mainstream position. And even if the administration concedes on that point and makes a new agency (likely), American propaganda about how we "beat the Nazis" has given enough people cause to study fascism to start turning some gears.
