Making a high end core like AMD, Apple, ARM, or Intel is very expensive. Anyone doing this is going to want a return on their investment. RISC-v main advantage is the ability to change the ISA as needed, which is a big advantage for accelerators/AI. I expect similar to tenstorrent's approach.
