I recommend either making a macro or manually setting the keybind for targeting the nearest enemy. This works for me at least because I personally rarely if ever care about who I target, as long as I'm targeting someone. Both in PvP and PvE.

Tsukuyomi's Rapier is very nice. I would look at uncraftable primal weapons if this one doesn't speak to you! They're often underused & since the crafted ones are super glowy so you forget about the model underneath.

There actually is a way to do this!
In "Keybinds -> Targeting", there is a specific keybind called "Target Nearest Enemy". You can bind that to whatever. I personally have it perma-set to Tab since I don't really cycle targets much in PvE content.
