I understand that is what you are inferring.

I did not imply that.

I wanted to understand more about the tenets of permaculture applied to this situation.

Since you don't seem interested in talking about that I will just wish you a good day.

What an odd interpretation of what I said.

You think anarchy means, "people living in the same area"? Okay...

Yes, you can choose to be part of certain communities.

I was speaking to the definition of community that is about the people you happen to live next to, which is relevant to permaculture, which is what I was asking about. Thanks

That is one definition of community. Another is basically just "people living in the same area" which very much does include strangers. And if we're talking about permaculture, which is what I was asking about, I don't know why you would define community the way you did. Thanks for your input

It's perfectly fine to say no. It's perfectly fine to expect someone to ask before they take from your garden. I understand consent.

I do not understand how what the OP said fits into the concepts of "Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share" (in OP's bio) of permaculture. That's what I was asking about

Yes, sharing should be voluntary. Nothing you said actually addressed any of my questions, but thanks.

Why is consent needed if she would "always" say yes? Saying no is perfectly fine. Maybe she just needs to be clear with herself that she wouldn't always say yes and that that's okay too.

How does that fit in with the tenets of permaculture? The "Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share" that is in @parkroseperma.bsky.social's bio. Isn't the idea that there is more than enough for everyone? That we live in a world of abundance?

If you always say yes, why would it feel like a violation if someone took from your garden? And if I'm understanding correctly this plant was on the curb strip, so picking from there is fine because that's city land right? I guess I don't understand what permaculture is 🤷‍♀️

Part of the reason for the myth of getting more conservative as you get older is because if you are in a marginalized group you are less likely to be conservative and also more likely to die at a younger age because you are part of a marginalized group.

Dental health is very much linked to heart health and heart disease is very deadly.
