Either art direction or the artist decided to add women and a person of colour to the reference used in the Twilight 2000 cover art.

That always gave me good for thought.

Mutants In the Now

This is your perfect fix for playing anthropomorphic teenaged animal martial artists.

Especially if you don't want to be stuck paying brand name prices.

@j-k.games has done some great work here.

Dicey Tales!

Pulp era adventures using the Barbarians of Lemuria engine. This one plays fast and loose with lots of narrative control for players.

Tales of the Old West by the fellows at @effektpodcast.org

Wild West adventure using the Year Zero Engine.

Straight Western here with no Weird.

Really focuses on community and making a life in the West

Low Fantasy Gaming.

Now entitled Tales of Argosa in its second edition.

Easy to pick up modern d20 based dark fantasy. Lots of great sword & sorcery vibes.

So many, but let's start with a couple.

Beyond the Wall and Other Adventures.

Basic fantasy with a dark first vibe and lots of mechanics for a low prep emergent game.

If you see this, post a record cover with a motor vehicle on it.

But the game has shortened it's name to just 'Hyperborea' with its third edition.

Just at the art discussion of this one.

I was shocked and stunned in junior high school when I found the inspiration for the original cover was a photo from Vietnam.

But the artist clearly added more representation.

Do you ever sit and wonder which classic TV characters would have embraced newer technology? Stuff that appeared after their run.

The other night my wife and I went out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary and this card was sitting on our table when we arrived.

Sometimes it is the simple touches.
