I have a trivial backup method to access every app and account that is protected by my yubikey because getting my phone to recognize my yubikey is iffy at best

I have a 2FA app on my phone that is only used to access my password manager. And the password to my 2FA app is trivial because I have to actually remember it rather than storing it in my password manager which is protected by the 2FA app. Or something like that.

There were a couple in my neighborhood but I haven't seen them in a while. I wonder if people are finally seeing them for the monstrosities they are and are getting rid of them.

I highly recommend duckduckgo disposable email addresses. They work perfectly until you no longer need them and they are gone with a single click

I'd like to delete old meetings from my calendar without sending the organizer a decline notice, but Proton thinks it is more important to classifier email as newsletters (which it gets wrong)

I just started reading the book! I'm not far in (nobody has died yet) but it's promising to be better than the movie

It's a subgenre of enshittification:

Dropbox bought & killed Mailbox

Cisco Systems bought & killed Flip Video

Apple bought & killed Dark Sky

Mozilla bought & killed Pocket

Google developed & killed Reader

Branch Metrics bought & killed Nova Launcher

Apple killed iTunes for Windows

Same, but for Google shutting down Reader. Although I'm not sure RSS still exists.

(Also, Pocketcasts working ok this morning)
