Why are customers being asked to pay for something shareholders should be investing in? After all, it is the shareholders who will get the return on the investment?

When you look at the timeline, Ukraine voted to start the process of joining NATO after Russia invaded Crimea and some of the areas adjacent to the Azov sea. Hence it could not have triggered Russia invading Ukraine.

The fans make a lot of noise. They run nearly all day and night due to the low-grade heat produced. At the moment in the UK electricity is about 4x the cost per kWh of gas. That makes gas cheaper for the same heat even with the gains of heat pumps.

A neighbour - about 3 doors down has decided to bless us all with their heat pump. I can hear it very clearly running most of the night. Even at 3x the efficiency of direct heating, it is still more expensive than heating by gas. Just a couple of things need fixing there...

The PM said it was like an experiment in open borders. We had open borders with the EU/Schengen and now we have more movement of people so it is like an open border with the rest of the world not an actual open border.
