After a couple of short campaigns, I moved it to the Hero System. So it seems we had the same thoughts.

Space 1889 is one of the few settings that inspired me enough that I actually played a system that I honestly didn't care much for. That's the sign of one hell of a setting. So evocative.

Thank you so much, Max. Sales have picked up a bit, thankfully. I think the problem is that it is extremely niche. I probably made it too specific to be a big commercial success. The fact that it's not only a coming-of-age game, but also that it's set specifically in 1989.

It's even worse than the alternate 1985 from Back to the Future 2. At least Biff could stay awake.

Totally same! Em dashes are great for controlling the tempo of a sentence and to keep complex statements easy to read. I'll give them up when I'm dead... and maybe not even then.

Friday the 13th: the Game. I haven't been really invested in video games since the early 2000s. And really not even then. More like 1997. But when Friday the 13th was released in 2017, I went all in. I played that game until the servers went offline.

My list would be filled with villains from the old Hostess ads: Legal Eagle, Hungry Battle-axe, Human Computer, etc.

Trump having the order cancelled is yet another attempt to create a diversion from the Epstein Files. He creates all these fires that people have to put out, hoping they will forget about forcing the government to release the Epstein files.

The Trump administration has shown how easily exploited the Constitution is. The Constitution is a nice set of ideas, but it and its many amendments, simply don't work against a truly malevolent force.

It's like how crime movies exist in an alternate reality where surveillance cameras aren't everywhere. Because truthfully, if they weren't set in this alternate reality, those films would be ten minutes long, tops.
