If you know me, groovy, if you don't, howdy!
I recently purchased a tiny ceramic hippo that floats, and could think of no better place on my home for it than to add a second dangerous animal in with my axolotl.

I didn't know lichen could grow on beach boulders. I'm no marine biologist or fungi fun guy, if anyone else can provide details I'd be grateful.

I'm so excited I got to meet a siphonophore today!

I've been following MBARI for years, and I got to visit the aquarium and their deep sea exhibit was amazing beyond belief. Absolutely a gem in the world.

There's a lot of scared thirsty animals this summer, if you can offer a bit of shade and water to one please do.

Met a magical creature yesterday. Hydrated, hissed, and heartily laughed.

Good luck little ten striped June beetle.

It's lower down on the page, I just screenshotted it.

It notes that people died slower than last week, but as a week to week screenshot, that isn't super helpful for a yearly data point. The total number is of course accurate.

They're doing great genetic work for lots of real species, red wolves etc, but their marketing team is pretty gross.
