I'm really happy that the Christmas cactus (that ended up being a Thanksgiving Cactus) that I adopted from our Nenes house after she passed away has flowered for the first time in years. So pretty!

This event runs through winter and costs roughly £30 per person at Kew Royal Botanical gardens. Dress warm!!

A really cool large moving light sculpture glows red in time to ambient music in the dark. When you wish upon a star section of the gardens. Trees are lit up in every colour while giant stars hang from the branches all around. Huge huge oak tree absolutely covered in twinkling rainbow light bulbs. I have no idea how they did this. My feet standing on wet panelling and fallen Ginkgo leaves.

Ok so this was the weirdest creepiest coolest tree I've ever seen from this angle before. It was HUGE and the lights made underneath look like some kinda veins.
Giant tree lit up purple from underneath. Closer to the giant tree. The branches are lit up underneath so they're casting shadows onto their own canopy and it looks weird as hell at this scale. Looks like veins or a brain to me.

My absolute favourite part of the trail was the fibre-optic mushrooms!! God they were beautiful ❤️ I took so many photos of this part. Suffer my awe at the glowy colours.

Kew gardens Christmas lights finale. A giant botanical glasshouse is lit up from inside with lasers and projectors in Christmas colours and animations while people look up at synchronized spotlights in the sky. It's fucking amazing tbh.

God, Imagni is such a dweeb XD

Shares deeply appreciated on my #comic #art pages. Series recommended for ages 18+ due to occasional adult themes.
Panel 1: Imagni sniffles to herself as tears well in her eyes. She's holding a really badly drawn neon palmtree in front of her. Panel 2: "You're so beautiful!" Imagni sobs loudly hugging the hell out of the stupid looking tree she just made. Panel 3: As imagni walks around she hugs every one of her trees so the others don't feel left out or less special. Green voice watching her on screen- "Doesn't it bring back any fond memories?" Panel 4: Red voice offscreen- "Nothing this basic or embarrassing, no." Imagni squeaks up at her trees, tears running down her face and snot coming out her nose. "Thank you for being mine!" Green voice- "So you honestly didn't hug any of your first creations? I did... Though, I think Imagni is out to set a new Core record." Panel 5: The friendly green colored entity pokes at her energy screen grinning happily. "Ha ha! How CUTE is she?!" "Look at her go!" Panel 6: Imagni can be seen walking through her landscape talking to herself. Imagni- "I... I should try make more things now." Red off screen voice- "So much wasted emotion over nothing special." Panel 1: The shadowy green haired figure sneers sharply in response while holding her teacup. "Speaking from experience?" panel 2: The large angry red armored figure pauses in abrupt pain. Her single visible eye welling up with angry tears shocked at her partners strong comment. Panel 3: A wide shot of both characters standing in an awkward atmosphere. The large red figures fist is clenched and visibly shaking looking like she's about to punch the other character who calmly sips her tea pointing a finger to the exit. "You're free to go now." Her green energy screens begin to close as the office gets a little darker. Panel 4: The big angry red character walks away scowling, arms folded and surrounded in red brick light patterns as she warps out. "AS ARE YOU." The sound of heavy stone grinding echoes in the dark room as she leaves the other figure focused on Imagni. Panel 5: Exasperated the green haired character frowns and looks to the ceiling in annoyance. *SIGHHHH* "Oh Source, give me PATIENCE." Panel 6: "ANYWAY. Where were we- hang on..." she looks back down at her screen bathed in green light. Through the screen it looks like something big is happening. Hazard lights are blinking at her. Panel 7: Imagni's watcher leans back, bright yellow eyes wide in surprise. "IS SHE-"

Ok then. I'm gonna make a little #NiGHTS comic for fun on the side then. I was hit by a really great ide(y)a this morning and I think it will be fun for a lot of both new and old fans to read. It's nothing I've written before, something entirely new yet not. I'll get started soon :)

I think the greatest gift art I received of ALL time was way back in 2011. I'd been talking with NiGHTS' creator for a while and he'd had some art block at the time. One day Ohshima san sent me this lovely digital art and thanked me for inspiring him to draw again 😭🧡 I will cherish this forever.
