I bet they have a deprived Victorian child locked away in the basement, and they judge episodes by how quickly it faints 🤔

I see it as an allergy warning still, though apparently it’s separate medically.
And having googled it, it’s a good thing they print it, since the aftertaste can apparently last for weeks and gets stronger when you eat 😬

You can have an allergy to practically anything really

The more complex explanation has to do with our priorities - you can choose realism, or expressiveness. Unfortunately, these often go against each other.

In other words, in order to make the emotion clearer, we exaggerate the pose and features and strip away anything not directly necessary

The simplest explanation for lips is that it’s cheaper and faster to draw this way, without losing any expressivity

As for the teeth… yeah, it’s the uncanny valley effect, since in the real world there’s no *line* there, just a light shadow, drawing one is going to exaggerate way too much

Sorry to assume, I was mostly annoyed because that’s rarely the case nowadays. I’ve seen way too many people online straight up mock light-mode for pure clout :|

But you commented under a person who agrees with your point

Which this post from a corporation took a jab at. It’s a cheap, overused joke at the expense of discomforting people

Dark mode text is blurry for me and doesn’t work well. White text on a dark background has a lot more glare and blur.
You have missed the point - light mode can be a lot easier to read if you don’t have issues with it
