The most excited I felt for a COD game was probably Cold War because that seemed like it was doing what Black Ops was originally going for and had some cool ideas for levels.

Didn't get to play it, but maybe one day.
(Along with remastered stuff, just to see what it was doing too)

Ghosts has its high points, as does AW. I suppose I'm a little biased since I was already a bit weary of the series by MW3 and BO2.
It's a shame because the Black Ops series felt like they had some interesting ideas and themes that could have worked really well.

I feel like the rot set in around Ghosts and Advanced Warfare - former was bad, latter was alright - which is when I bounced off.

It just felt like the series was running out of steam, especially after I found out how they were driving the Black Ops series into the ground.

I feel like, despite my belief that the government would falter after the winter fuel fiasco, that big changes could be in the making, and we'd see some genuine push for change.

Now I just feel empty, watching this whole project fall apart in a year and a half
