I read the first 2 books in the series as well, and agree I liked book 2 'Dark Forest' better. But I have to admit I liked the TV series much better than the books! (and that doesn't happen very often)

Goldin from Michigan would be an upgrade. Bigger, stronger and more physical than any of the centers on our roster. I like all 3 of our existing centers but at some point you have to make a hard decision so that you can improve at a position that has been a long standing weakness on this team

And did BoMel just do a double pinch hit maneuver to get a matchup for - Tyler Fitzgerald?!?? Seriously? 3 for his last 53 Tyler Fitzgerald? Time to start calling out mediocrity in this franchise and that includes the manager

2nd time in the last few games that Matt Williams cost us a run on an overly conservative hold call. Mark Hallberg was much better last year, so we chose to 'solve' a problem we didn't have?

Are you kidding me? That was a no brainer. Fastest guy on the team on 3rd base and Casey Schmidt on deck. No doubt send. Even a good throw might not have got him.
