I like that choice.

I don't remember the sound from the original show, I think I only saw it a few times before it was rebranded. I was excited by how much those dinosaur scenes felt like an expanded version of the primeval world diorama at Disneyland, though!

The sound design in the Ellen's Energy Adventure as your enormous ride vehicle enters the dinosaur swamp and the sun rises. After the silly dialog and the pea brain stomps after Ellen it's just that low mood music and swampy sound effects and everything feels tropical and dinosaur-y and awesome.

I didn't get to ride the OG UoE until '93 and the only thing I really remembered (besides the dinosaurs) was how nice the AC was inside.

My son and I really enjoyed the anime, which got me hooked on the Manga.
