Perhaps. But four years in a row is pretty sucky. I'm simply nixing the con out of my consideration because four years in a row tells me they aren't interested in my work.

I've been overworked and underappreciated at a few cons. It looks great on paper, but often it sucks. This is my opinion, of course.

Just got rejected for the fourth year in a row from a con I was GOH a while back. It really starts to feel like cons just want free art that year and then you get no future consideration. Not saying anyone deserves special consideration, but still.

Most fursuit makers will talk to you in depth about their commission process and will happily point you to previous customers so you can get a good sense of what to expect. Even with premades!
