Yeah I think SHB is really in its own echelon but I can appreciate EW for what it tries (and mostly succeeds). I have kept playing since then and still really loved Dawntrail but I think it’s been missing something for a minute. But hey, maybe a couple expansions from now will be peak

gosh, i feel like i knew about most of these before they came out but i'd say Blue Prince, Burggeist, and maybe Hero of Ice Fairy were the games i played that i didn't expect to love so much

dragon age veilguard was my first game this year. that feels like it was a billion lifetimes ago

same except i kept Sonar. really enjoyed my route! i do want to see what keeping coop is like if not only so i can learn more about her personality

The ability to jump back into any scene you want is also nice, so I can see what different choices would do

yeah!! have you played the Indiana Jones game? i really loved how that one meshed kind of a linear story with open areas to explore and solve

i felt this way about 1 but i did feel that unlocking more battery and ram led to innovation in movement with 2 so it bothered me less with it. plus i loved exploring the sky

yeah i feel this heavy. i just hit the 20 hour mark in Ghost and only just broke into act 2. i’m kinda tired of everything and the plot is not really engaging me enough. people give spider-man 2 shit for its plot and short length but it felt really focused and i had fun for the entire runtime

elden ring is great but it mostly doesn’t feel like an open world game to me. dunno why lol. i think because it focuses so much more on the player experience rather than sitting through a million cutscenes all with the same theme of “revenge bad honor good”

i also have a couple backup names, even though i go by paige mostly online and such if i ever change my name it will just be sebastian paige bc i love my first name a lot still. being trans nonbinary is cool in this way
