I’ll shut up about this for a bit now. But do have a listen to this album I made because I’m quite proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and actually playing instruments and stuff.
For the latest folklore, facts and fables zine and cd (no.6!), I explore the best thing ever to be on telly; Time Team. Eight tracks dedicated to eight original team members plus an illustrated zine with a 1000 word essay on why I love it.

I’m sure my A level geology teacher told me a story about a geologist/composer who set up a bunch of people at different outcrops on the side of a mountain with hammers then somehow signalled to them when to hit their respective rocks, thus using the whole mountain as an instrument.

Not that many people watch my films on YouTube but the recent one covering the Stonehenge bluestones is doing alright. This is nice, but also a shame because there there is so much beyond Stonehenge.
I watched an hour and half Ch4 doc about Stonehenge the other night.

Finally tackled the ‘S’ place, albeit indirectly. Undoubtedly, it’s all wrong but at least I admit it…

Made at sites of ancient stones, upon hillforts and in the depths of a fogou. Megalithic Moog is an album crafted using a 1974 Moog Prodigy and the land itself. Melodies from leylines, beats from boulders, songs from stones.

If eggs are shaped like eggs to stop them rolling out of nests there’s no need for the alien eggs to be egg shaped as they’re always just stood up like some Fabergé motherfuckers.

We were still submitting essays into a box when I did my PGCE in 2013-14!
We still submitted essays in a box in the department when I was an undergrad in 2009. I miss it. You’d have a sense of solidarity around the deadline when all of your classmates turned up to do the same.
Nothing makes me feel old like the start of a new semester.

When I was an undergrad, I registered my module choices with a paper form. I took all my notes by hand. All my books were physical. I submitted my essays in print into a box outside the departmental secretary's office. Good times.

By the way, the great @timeteam.bsky.social rewatch seems to have sort of ended with the last series, that isn’t on the official channel, but I found elsewhere. However, a few eps were missing. Like, this one that went up recently. Have I seen it? 1/2

I go to church with my mum about once a month. It’s an Anglo-catholic church so lots of smells, bells and sung bits.
I also go to see where my Dad’s are, give him an update, and light a candle here in the Lady Chapel in front of where we sit.
On a sunny day, the light is beautiful.

Feel like I just try and plug things on here instead of engaging but anyway… I have this YouTube channel. It’s a random mess of stones stuff, music stuff and videos about my van, Sven.
But, if subscribing to YouTube channels is a thing you do, there’s probably something interesting there…
