Since this figure is communicating categories and not a gradient, a qualitative instead of a quantitative color scheme is probably easier to read. So e.g. in matplotlib dark2 instead of viridis. Sorry for the random nit-pick.

Would be nice to have somewhat more explicit description of the tasks it enables. Because I, as an astro PhD student, have yet to find a great usecase for these tools.

The image looks very much AI generated (hands, eyes, texture,...). Would be cool to communicate this, e.g. via the alt-text.

Interesting that for a story about joy, they chose a title image that shows BlueSky already being invaded by pseudo scientific AI slop.
